Transforming Response Across Complex Justice Systems

Blue Renew is dedicated to empowering law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, and justice system partners to advance effective practices that prevent sexual and family violence, support victims, and hold perpetrators accountable. We believe that meaningful transformation requires systemic, survivor-centered reforms that build trust and promote transparency across complex justice systems.

In partnership with our clients, we help identify and implement customized reforms that improve investigations, victim responses, and case outcomes. Our work focuses on strengthening multidisciplinary approaches to response and prevention—ensuring that victims are treated with dignity and respect and that accountability is clear and consistent. Through collaboration and strategic guidance, we support agencies in building trust with the communities they serve, fostering safer and more equitable environments for all.

Our vision is a justice system that prevents sex-based and family violence before it occurs, operates with complete transparency and accountability, and supports all victims with compassion and respect. We are committed to making that vision a reality.

About Our Founder:

Hanna Senko is a sexual assault survivor, speaker, and consultant dedicated to improving the handling of sexual assault cases through the criminal justice system.

Senko reported her assault to the Austin Police Department (APD), but it was denied prosecution and closed via exceptional clearance. Her experience is representative of 97.5% of all cases that do not result in conviction, 80% of survivors who knew their rapist, and 65% that report having had multiple victimizations throughout their lifetime.

Senko is a passionate advocate for change and was a lead plaintiff in the class action lawsuit against the City of Austin and the Travis County District Attorney's office with the hopes of improving the awareness, understanding, and handling of sexual assault cases in her community. Later, Senko was hired by APD to assist with the implementation of the changes and improvements that were necessary.

Senko is a member of the Austin Travis County Sexual Assault Resource and Response Team (A/TC SARRT). She has spoken on large and small stages, engaging audiences on crucial subjects that serve both survivors and the criminal justice system. She has provided multiple public testimonies at Texas legislative sessions, Austin City Council, Public Safety Commission, and Commission for Women meetings. She has also been interviewed by countless media and podcasting outlets, serving as a powerful voice for change.

Senko brings 25-years of experience in the private sector leading global organizations through strategic governance, risk, compliance, and large-scale project management initiatives. Senko is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (LAc.), and she maintains her Project Management Professional certification (PMP).
